Q1. Does it hurt?
A1. Yes, any tattoo or piercing will hurt as the skin is being broken. Saying that, it is tolerable and everybodys pain threshold is different so its impossible to say how much it will hurt you.

Q2. Do you use anaesthetic?
A2.
No, I am not a doctor so it is illegal for me to prescribe and apply these medications. If you had an adverse reaction to the anaesthetic I would be in the wrong.
Local anaesthetic creams are easily available for you to buy and apply yourself from chemists, but this is done at your own risk.

Q3. If my parents give permission, can I have a tattoo before I`m 18?
A3.
NO! It is against the law!
The Tattooing of Minors Act 1969 (1969 c. 24)
It shall be an offence to tattoo a person under the age of eighteen except when the tattoo is performed for medical reasons by a duly qualified medical practitioner or by a person working under his direction, but it shall be a defence for a person charged to show that at the time the tattoo was performed he had reasonable cause to believe that the person tattooed was of or over the age of 18 and did in fact so believe.

Q5. Is there an age limit for piercing?
A5. It is my policy not to pierce any person under the age of 18 without proof of age, or with parental consent in writing.

Q6. Do you tattoo hands, necks, or faces?
A6.
I would advise anyone considering a tattoo in these places not to have it done. This is because it can affect you chances of employment and you are more likely to regret them as they cannot be covered. That said, it is your skin so who am I to tell you no.

Q7. Can you bleed to death if you have your tongue pierced?
A7. This is so unlikely but possible I suppose. There are two large veins that run through your tongue that must be avoided. They are easily visible from the underside of the tongue, so easy to avoid. I have never personally heard of any deaths.

Q8. What is the most unusual Tatto that you have ever done?
A8. The initials of a guys girlfriend on his tongue. Dont ask why!

Q9. Do you re-use needles?
A9. Never, NO reputable studio would ever consider doing this. All nedels will be taken out of a sterile packet in front of you!

Q10. Why does a Tattoo cost so much when I can buy the kit on ebay for £100?
A10. You are paying for my ability NOT my equipment. One of the most common things I'm asked to do is sort out home made Tattoo's because it's not as easy as it looks.

Q11. Do you take on apprentices?
A11. NO. Since Miami ink came on T.V Tattoong is seen as 'cool' and everyone and thier cat wants to be the next Chris Garver or Kat Von D. Anyone who has it in them will learn to Tattoo, as I did & build a solid portfolio and then get work in the industry. It's a way of life, NOT a job.

Q12. Do you take credit cards, cheques, pay pal?
A12. We accept cash or paypal. We do not have facilities for others at the moment.
